
Renovo Automation Appoints Brad Irwin as President
MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota – July 14, 2026 — Renovo Automation, a next-generation operational technology (OT) software company delivering modern SCADA solutions for utilities and critical infrastructure, announces the appointment of Brad Irwin as President, effective July 13, 2026. He succeeds Bahman Hoveida in the acting President role, who will continue to serve as Chairman of Renovo Automation and CEO of Accurant Energy Holdings, the parent company of Renovo Automation.
Brad brings more than two decades of leadership and operational experience in automation software, industrial technology, engineering, and manufacturing, with a proven track record of delivering complex solutions to utilities and infrastructure operators. Before joining Renovo Automation, he was Vice President of the Distribution Design business unit at SBS, where he led growth initiatives, expanded market presence, and formalized a Customer Success practice for utility customers across the sector. Prior to SBS, he spent over 14 years at Open Systems International/AspenTech in various senior development and management roles, developing and deploying advanced automation and distribution management software. He has extensive experience building high-performing teams, scaling organizations, and driving customer-focused innovation across global markets.

Brad holds a Bachelor of Science, Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and brings decades of leadership experience in the automation and technology sectors.
